Laura Humphrey Past President
Laura has been an acquisition specialist since 2005 at Right of Way Professionals, Inc., a consulting firm located out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.0 She has been a member of our IRWA chapter since 2006 and has taken numerous IRWA courses to achieve the SR/WA designation in November 2017. Laura has acquired over 1,200 parcels for utilities and state and local units of government throughout the state of Wisconsin and a portion of Michigan. She enjoys managing projects as well as meeting with landowners to help them understand the acquisition process and how the project will impact their property.
Kyle Driscoll President
Kyle is a managing director of CBRE, Inc. Valuation & Advisory Services in the midwest. His primary focus is on right of way appraisal services. Kyle has experience in the valuation of general purpose and user-based specialized real estate. He has appraised property in several U.S. states for right of way acquisition, property tax, financial reporting, insurance, and purchase/sale. He has also performed advisory services including market and impact studies as well as pretrial and litigation support for a variety of large right of way projects. Kyle has worked in the valuation profession since 2007. He has a bachelors in business administration from UW Whitewater. He is an MAI.
Edward Kunz Secretary
Ed is a Real Estate Specialist with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation in Madison for the Southwest Region. He has been with the IRWA and the State of Wisconsin since 2019. Prior to this he was a mortgage lender and banker. Out of college he entered the United States Army Reserve and spent four year active duty with the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Rounding out twenty three years of service in Madison, Milwaukee, Beaver Dam and the Fox Valley.
Ed and his wife, Debbie, have four adult children and one grandchild. He says, "The IRWA is a great place to be and I am looking forward to learning the business as rapidly as I can. It is my pleasure to be able to serve the Badger Chapter as their Treasurer."
Michelle Somers President Elect
Michelle has been a right of way agent since 2014 and is currently employed by TerraVenture as a contract right of way agent for Wisconsin Public Service in Green Bay. She has been a member of Badger Chapter 17 since 2014 and also serves as the newsletter editor and is co-chair of the education committee and course coordinator. She was th 2018 Professional of the Year for Chapter 17. She has an associates degree in paralegal studies from Chippewa Valley Technical College.
